Become a member

There are three types of membership:

• full member
• special member
• supporting member

Artists in and from the Tyrol, who work in the field of fine art and hold a degree or equivalent obtained at a university of the arts recognized in Austria, are invited to become regular members. If an artist cannot meet the criterion of a university degree, it is possible to present samples of work and documentation to the committee of the association. – including the following:

• a letter of application
• CV (concentrating on artistic career)
• documentary material (photographs, concepts, catalogues if possible).

According to the statutes, only artists who were born in Tyrol or whose life is centred here can become members. Send applications to: Tyrolean Artists’ Association, Kunstpavillon, Rennweg 8a, 6020 Innsbruck. Applications may be submitted at any time (the jury comes together every two to three months). The membership fee is 50 euros per year and is charged starting the year following acceptance (BTV – Bank für Tirol und Voralberg, IBAN: AT501600000100332272, BIC: BTVAAT22).

Special members are persons actively contributing to the work of the association. Acceptance is decided on by the chair and the advisory board.

Supporting members of the association take part in the association’s activities through various programmes. Special guided tours and visits to artists’ studios are arranged for the friends of the association and they receive editions and publications at subscription prices. With their contribution of 30 euros per year, they both show their appreciation for the work of the Tyrolean Artists’ Association and make possible an exciting exhibition programme and a dedicated range of services for artists and visitors.
